Tax on health benefits raises doubts

Whether or not to tax employment based health benefits has become a major point of conflict in health system reform in Washington DC. So reports David Espo of the Associated Press (read it
here). In effect, this makes the health reform discussion a hostage of organized labor, who oppose such a tax. Is there a better illustration of why the federal health reform debate should be considered irrelevant to any attempt to do better here in Utah?
